Build a workable day-by-day route before contracting: arrival and departure airports, overnight sequence, realistic transfer days, visit windows and time for meals or rest. A multi-region tour is not just a list of landmarks.

Transport & connections

Plan airport transfers, intercity vehicles and drivers against the actual group and luggage count. Domestic flight or rail connections can be assessed where they save a long road day; schedules and availability are checked at quotation.

Licensed guiding

Match guiding needs to the destination, subject matter and group language. Professional tourist-guide licensing is separate from the agency's TÜRSAB registration; guide assignment and language are confirmed for the departure.

Hotels & rooming

Compare location, room category, group layout, access needs and the daily route—not just star rating. Named properties, room types, pools, connecting rooms and special requirements remain subject to written supplier confirmation.

Visits & experiences

Sequence archaeological sites, neighbourhood walks, cultural encounters and optional experiences around opening conditions, group pace and access. Tickets, private access and permits are itemised where relevant, never silently assumed.

What is a destination management company in Türkiye?

A DMC is an in-country operator that plans and coordinates local travel services for another agency or organiser. Depending on the brief, these can include routes, transport, hotels, licensed guides, site visits and on-trip arrangements. The final scope should be written into the quote.

Is BAOBAB TRAVEL a licensed Turkish travel agency?

Yes. BAOBAB TRAVEL is registered under TÜRSAB agency No. 15764. This is separate from founder İlyas Bayrak's professional guide licence No. 070867.

Do you serve tour operators as well as individual travel advisors?

Yes. This page covers group, special-interest and corporate ground handling. Individual private-client and white-label advisor requests have a dedicated travel-advisors page so each type of enquiry reaches the right desk.

Can you quote a multi-city group itinerary?

Yes. Provide dates, estimated group size, arrival and departure airports, hotel level and must-see places. We first check the sequence and transfer days, then prepare a proposal based on the services requested and available suppliers.

Are hotel blocks, guides and vehicles guaranteed?

No. Availability, room configuration, guide language, vehicle capacity and supplier terms depend on the departure. We confirm specific arrangements in writing; a planning example is not a reservation.

Can you arrange MICE or corporate incentive travel?

We can discuss transport, accommodation and programme coordination for a corporate or incentive brief. Venue, production, capacity and any specialist event service must be scoped and confirmed individually; we do not publish a universal delegate capacity.

What should a Turkey DMC request include?

Dates or travel window, arrival and departure points, group size, interests, hotel standard, target budget and currency, guiding language, mobility needs, preferred pace and a decision deadline. State whether you need ground-only services or a fuller programme.

Can you plan Eastern Türkiye alongside Istanbul and Cappadocia?

Yes, as a route-design request. Eastern Türkiye adds significant travel distances. We will check connections, overnight stops and site access rather than promising that every region fits comfortably into a short programme.

How are net rates and inclusions handled?

Rates are quoted for the actual scope and departure, not as a universal public tariff. Your written offer should specify pricing basis, currency, inclusions, exclusions, supplier assumptions, payment milestones and cancellation conditions.

Do you publish guaranteed response times or round-the-clock dispatch?

No blanket dispatch or response-time guarantee applies to every enquiry. On-trip contacts, escalation arrangements and any service hours are agreed for the particular programme before confirmation.
