Turkey Visa for Nigerian Citizens: 2026 Requirements & Cost
Quick Answer: Nigerian ordinary passport holders need a sticker visa from the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Abuja before travelling. Nigeria is not on the list of nationalities that can apply for a Turkish e-Visa, so holding a Schengen, US, UK or Ireland visa does not open an online e-Visa route for Nigerian passports. There is no visa on arrival and no visa-free entry. Do Nigerian citizens need a visa for Türkiye? Yes. A visa is required for tourism, business and family visits. The Embassy has announced that applications are not accepted at the Lagos branch until further notice. Check the Embassy's announcements before you go.
