Uludağ rises to 2,543 m directly behind Bursa, close enough that you can ski in the morning and sit in a thermal bath in an Ottoman bathhouse the same afternoon. For advanced skiers used to the Alps, the terrain is limited and the season is short — go for the setting and the price, not the vertical. Two to three nights is the standard trip, ideally with one night on the mountain and one in Bursa. The mountain: season, snow and lifts The ski season generally runs from late December to late March, with the most reliable snow in January and February.
